·学校简介：

罗切斯特大学创建于1850年，当时是一所教会学校。该校位于纽约州西部安大略湖岸工业城市罗切斯特，目前已是一所男女同校的重要世俗私立大学。

　　罗切斯特大学是美国100所最佳院校之一。该校的7位学者是全国科学院院士，18位学者是美国文理研究院院士；在它的教师和校友中有5名教授是诺贝尔奖金获得者，9名学者获普利策文学奖。

罗切斯特大学的8大学院（文理学院、工程学与应用科学学院、伊斯曼音乐学院、教育与人才开研究生院、医学与牙科学院、护理学院、商业管理研究生院和人文科学与应用研究学院）共开设175门学位课程（含学士、硕士和博士3种学位），其中英语、音乐、历史、政治学、心理学、数学和光学等专业素享盛誉。
