该题B项中的with修饰谁？

with修饰概念比较模糊。哪位大虾可以给点系统的解释？只记得以前有题是猴子在树上sleeping，然后加with修饰其sleeping的状态。可是这里的with到底是修饰谁呢？大虾帮忙。

答案是D
找不到with修饰对象所以是模糊的. with 错一般都是这么错的.

when prepositional phrases follow commas, they are adverbial modifiers (which modify the action or main verb of the preceding clause)

一点拙见
with 一般引导伴随状语，而状语是修饰动词的，一般都是对谓语的补充说明
对于with,我觉得从意思上分析更好理解一些...找修饰对象很乱，至少我是搞不太清楚...
with 曲解原来句子之间的因果关系等

基本上所有的with都是表伴随的，不过记得有几个特例，有个“with....agreement,美国很便宜

买了阿拉斯加那块地”这个好像是表方式...
多从句意考虑吧...with太tricky

with 型独立主格,与主句形成紧密的逻辑联系,形式为:

with + n. + -ed/ing形式; with + n. + adj.; with + n. + 介词短语作状语修饰前一个分句的动作类型词

例:Visitors to the park have often looked into the leafy canopy and seen
monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging like socks on a clothesline. with引导的独立主格作状语就近修饰sleeping
