I am now working in a sizable international company for just more than 1 year.
Before that, I worked in a local HK company for 2.5 year.
I am now thinking to ask my boss, the director of Asia Pacific, to write the
recommendation letter for the 2010 MBA full- time application. I highly believe
this will be very persuasive and helpful. However my boss will question about my
loyalty to the company at the same time. Furthermore, this may affect my annual
appraisal and bonus at this year end.
Could anyone share his experience/ give any advice to me? Is it better to ask my
ex- boss, the director of a local company, to write the letter? Is the
recommendation letter a key factor to affect the MBA application? Thank you so
much.
A good question. Have the same problem. Hope someone share his/her
experience.
depends on the company culture.
Some companies even encourage the employee to purchasing further degrees. It is
nothing with loyalty. Let your boss know early sometimes also gives him a ti me for
preparation.
