这道题为什么选B？这道题虽然划线部分前面有and连接，但是and连接的两部分都是主谓全的所以可以不用结果并列，为什么A不对呢？再有就是B中were it to do so 是怎么解释？再有就是如果选B则改变了原文的意思啊（so that 修饰）

so that结构完整的只有b和c

c的or else看起来真的别扭，原来的句子已经有一个主句Antarctica receives more solar radiation than does any other place on Earth了，yet后面加了一个转折的句子，如果用or else连接第三个句子，第三个句子就像是和yet转折的句子并列，这在逻辑上是没意义的。

楼上，能不说下A中（除了对称问题)那个，SO THAT，补全了应该怎么用？谢谢

还有那个B的were it to do so,是个虚拟

so that表示结果(无强调reflective的意思)用在这里我认为也说得过去，但是不符合GMAT语法，我看GMAT中出现的基本都是 so + adj. + that ... 这种句型。
另外 little + n. 的话，就变成了形容词“小”，-- 极点的小冰块
little of + n. 时，little才是代词“少量”的意思。
otherwise 的用法看不出来错，请楼下NN指点。

B. is so reflective that little of the polar ice melts during the summer; were it to do so,
were it to do so = if it were to do so 虚拟语气倒装，表示与现实相反的假设
