A 和C有什么区别吗?

有， on account of one's doing ，不能直接用doing .

楼主应该多问一个为什么： because of , on account of 等词语后面直接接doing没有用从句或者后面接名词短语好；哪怕在别的语法书或者表达上出现；

大部分SC没有绝对，只有相对；
