答案A。这个没有问题。但是B好象也对? 为什么B不对呢?是不是范围的问提?B是in auto accidents,A是In most fatal automobile accidents。但是B的范围比A的大。况且加入否定后也可使原文不成立呀? 再问一下。rarely 否定后是不是all ?

原文中的 in the majority of cases in which one occupant of an automobile is killed while another survives, it is the passenger, not the driver, who is killed.是调查的结果是吗? 而答案B仅仅是it is the passenger, not the driver, who is killed的重复, 不能作为原文逻辑的assumption. 因为原文的逻辑不仅仅要陈述一个survey的结果,而是从这个结果得出的结论, 即无辜的乘客要为司机的疏忽而承担责任,而真正的罪魁司机却受伤很轻. 要想这个逻辑成立,就必须是A中所说的the driver is at fault.

B 可不可以看作是调查的结果
A 是解释调查结果的成立的一的条件,driver的疏忽
提干中carelessness正好和A的at fault 替换。对吗?
