这里的proved是被动语态吗，还是与became平行的过去式。

but then后面应该跟完整句子啊，为什么可以省略it was呢

关于fall.查了词典,也就知道fall behind (with/on)sth.,

主语相同可省略

prove只能用主动表被动,没有被动形式.

payment不能用to表对象,只能用of.paying可做名词使用
