答案是D,它的解释我也明白，但我自己在做的时候就把平行的两个词弄错了，我觉得是persuad 与 liberating 平行，现在我还是这么觉得，请问大家平时在做题的时候是怎么确定那几个词平行的呢？我总是弄错。

if it's parallel, should be "by persuading" not "persuading"

我这题也错了,在问一下LS的,by persuading的by不能认为understood而省去么?

介词+Ving平行时都有这样的要求么?

persuade sb to do sth.

如果两个知识点都不知道，就难选了，比如我~~
