According to a survey of graduating medical students conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges, minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than are other graduates in planning to practice in socioeconomically deprived areas.
the answer is A,but I prefer C.
I have two questions as follows:
"plan to do" and "plan on doing" are both correct?
In this sentence, the subject " minority graduates " is supposed to be campared with the subject" other graduates "?
Thanks a lot
four times more likely than ,4倍怎么能用as as呢?,C肯定排除的
the subject " minority graduates " is supposed to be campared with the
subject" other graduates ",
但four times as...as应该是很标准的用法。。
有种说法是,be likely to do...
A:more likely than 固定词组。
C:as likely as表示和什么一样可能。。four times as likely as 表示和4倍的
一样可能,而不是说可能4倍多=four times more likely than 。。
C
plan on doing没问题
可是likely to do而不是likely in doing
