我认为D项还是有逻辑主语的错误: 主句的主语是citizens, 而不是United States, 而citizens have 5 percent of the world's population讲不通.

是不是说, 这种结构里的v.+ing形式不能被视为现在分词?

又回头看了看讲although后面接从句的OG11-09题:
