我先的是A, 查了一下网上的说明.

'where' vs 'in which'
'In which' is more precise than 'where' in defining location as in: This is the box in which she keeps her pearls. This is the place where she keeps her ...

如果只是在表明地点的时候用in which更好, phenomenon并不是地点的意思. 所以个人认为应该选A. 各位请指教

注意，prep.+which可以表示具体的地点，也可以表示抽象的地点，或我们经常说的“在某一方面，某一情况，某一现象”等。

OG上说了，where只能用于表示地点，修饰前面所提的地点名词。play according to the rule...

是不是可以这么理解，where不能指代一个抽象名词。

只有当这个抽象名词是说明一个过程某个阶段的时候才可以
