OG中答案是c，但我和复旦MM都认为是a，因为是rising带来了机遇,而不是成本带来了机遇。大家认为呢？.

因为，从逻辑上讲是正在逐步升高的成本，是这个状况导致了机遇的产生。

in my opinion
the rising cost is better than the rising of cost
two reasons
1. shorter and precise
2.the rising cost -- rising is an adj.

rising 表示了一种状态，强调了成本的升高是机遇产生的原因。成本跟机遇有什么关系？只有成本的变化才能说跟机遇有关系。

I agree with princess. 既然有名词rise，就不应用动名词rising，而且，题目强调的是结果而不是过程。

是增长的成本造成的，而不是成本的增长造成的！

第一感觉就是the rising cost,读起来顺口。呵呵。。。
