The Commerce Department announced that the economy grew during the second quarter at a 7.5 percent annual rate, while inflation eased when it might have been expected for it to rise.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(A) <!--[endif]-->it might have been expected for it to rise
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(B) <!--[endif]-->it might have been expected to rise
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(C) <!--[endif]-->it might have been expected that it should rise
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(D) <!--[endif]-->its rise might have been expected
<!--[if !supportLists]-->(E) <!--[endif]-->there might have been an expectation it would rise
虽然选对了,B)<!--[endif]-->it might have been expected to rise 但是还有些疑问,为什么是have 不是has,it 代指的是什么?情态动词might 后面必须跟动词原形
it指代的是inflation
这题后面的it might have been expected to rise 是不是虚拟语气, 与过去事实相反?
应该不是虚拟语气,而是过去完成时态+被动语态。
might have been 不是固定用法么?这句的句意让我很迷糊,不懂为什么要用might have been ,直接用 when it was expected to rise 是不是就足够了呢?
指教一 下~thx
