More than thirty years ago Dr.Barbara McClintock,the Nobel Prize winner,reported that genes can "jump",(as peals moving msysteriously from one necklace to another.).

A.as peals moving msysteriously from one necklace to another

B.like pearls moving mysterlously from one necklace to another

C.as pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others.

D.like pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others

E.as do pearls that move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one.

C,D,E都很容易通过后面的from...to ...的结构排除,可为什么会选B呢?

(1)like 相对于as没后者简洁,要举例子like 通常改成such as

(2)like A, B do ,形式什么的要完全一样啊,这个like peals moving.....genes can "jump"吗?好象也不是

那这个moving表状态吗?

为什么会把as改为like?  哪位大侠指教下下.

关键还是要能够区分as和like的用法：
As: as sb/sth do (as后面要接一个句子）

Like: like sb/sth doing （doing是现在分词，修饰sb/sth）
