答案是c 我觉得A和E好像也没错

the Youth Canorous是主语，所以只能选C；如果主语是Gorge的话AE就是正确答案了。

appear to be的逻辑主语不是the Youth Canorous，而是Gorge，因此前面不能用分词短语，而必须是完整的句子，用he来指代Gorge以避免歧义。

In A & E, before the "doing", there is a hided subject, it is the same

as the following main sentence. So the subject is the Youth Canorous. But

according to the meaning of this sentence, the subject should be Gorge.

When the "Doing ..." put at the beging of a sentence and followed by ",",

it has the same subject to the main sentence. This is a very important test point.
