这道题有些模不到头绪：新东方语法section 1, 第 12 题

为什么要选：

为什么原句不对呢?

原句没有c简洁， GMAT语法里面，简洁也是一个考虑要素。
而且，in 1905在 travelling之后，就是说，好像他们一直在travelling，直到1905才。。。
