答案是E， 兄弟百思不得其解， E在are之前明显差一个成分。想了想，还是觉得D比较好。大家觉得呢？

C. so debilitating is it as to become an economic

C比A简洁，所以我觉得C比A要好。但答案偏偏是A， 难道这里不能倒装吗？

1. E里面的第二个as引导一个从句， as=the people

2. so as to好像没有见过倒装的用法
