背景知识
什么是金融工程（Financial Engineering）: 用数学模型和计算方法来建立金融市场模型，解决金融问题。

需要的背景：数学、计算机编程

未来的职业发展：主要是quantitative analyst，即quant。也有人去做trader，甚至IBD，sales，consulting等

学术背景：理工科PhD，MFE

由4个学院合办，Tepper School of Business，Mathematical Sciences Department，Department of Statistics，Heinz College
一共有四轮，第一轮10月底截止，竞争会小一点
